the cliques
musicians :: the musicians are spacey but kind. they often have ipods plugged into their ears, and not much sticks in their mind. they like to drum on tables and rubber-band guitar. they can be a bit annoying, because they're not very good listeners, but everyone likes them anyway.
vocalists :: the vocalists are similar to the musicians except for the fact that they are much more attentive and frankly, quite vain. these people are often the ones who get the solos in preformances. they enjoy attention and brown-nosing to get what they want. they can be likable people, but get on a lot of people's nerves. they're known for bursting out into song at spontaneous moments and making a perfect rendition of 'high school musical' during lunch break.
actors :: the most common of groups is of course, the actors. a variety of personalities emerges in this group. a lot of them are snobs, but there are a few kind people around. a lot of the best people seem to get the background roles while total jerks get the leads. it gets frusturating, but actors always seem to have a bright demeanor about them, and are rarely pessimistic.
teachers :: the teachers are very much kids themselves. they have mood swings, they swear, they get drunk, they get knocked up- just like older versions of the kiddies. in fact, a lot of them aren't even that much older than the students. some even attempt at dating the female students! they're a generally friendly bunch, but, a rather insane one.
make-up department :: most of the 'scene' or 'emo' kids flock to the makeup department. working with eyeliner all day is like a dream cone true. this group enjoys testing their new makeup styles on themselves our others rather than the mannequins they are provided with. they're very high maintinence but an okay bunch. they are despised by the dancers, and the makup department kids hate most of the other groups.
costume department :: although the duty may seem boring, the costume epartment kids have a lot of fun. they're the nerdy, quiet kids- usually shy when around other cliques. but put them all in a room together, full of sewing equipment, and they go insane. they're an awesome, fun class when they're together, but alone, they have the personalities of wet blankets.
prop department :: this group is the most diverse; people paint, build, lift, set up, tear down, saw in half and glue back together. these kids are tough and it shows. they wear hard hats a lot, and a tool belt is almost always slung around their hips. if you're taking this course, you have to learn how to build things, take them apart, paint them, and set them up. this group consists of mostly boys, and the girls claim the prop boys to be the best in the school.
